Prostrate, ETERNITY BEGINS HERE AND DUST IS GREATNESS WORLDLINESS

Eating breakfast with glued painter artist, I mentioned the sign that I had memorized, which was written at the entrance of a cemetery, frontispiece-as-I was in Mexico at the first congress of prayer of Alpha and Omega in 1976: Prostrate, ETERNITY BEGINS HERE AND DUST IS GREATNESS WORLDLINESS. Massif wrote the thought in the main entrance to the pantheon of my hometown: SAN PEDRO NONUALCO.

Searching the Internet, the author of this thought I found the following poem:

Cemetery, graveyard, cemetery

This is a wayfarer, the universal home,
perpetual common, holy dwelling
which is to stop all mortal,
Sooner or later the end of the day.
Do not go, then, of this fatal threshold,
without you remember, you are dust and nothing
and here, unable to resist,
again and not have to go out.

II O you mortal! With curious plant,
visits this gloomy mansion,
a moment, the world that you love,
forget the fallacious delusion;
and the victim so considered here,
of all ages, status and condition,
cry havoc and sad consequence,
the dismal science appetite.

III
Here lie the importunate children,
stole his death, at the beginning of life,
but do not call him grave but cradle
or grave that the crib is assembled;
because if you notice well, no doubt
not easy to decide that the problem
if dying ceased to exist,
and then began to live.

IV
Here ends the power of science here,
Hence the vanity of beauty,
constantly struggle for existence,
greed for gold and adventure.
From one who at the age of innocence
glimpses of life the pure light
until it reaches the old tired,
become here in dust, and nothing!
